The Dayton Vineyard is an outward focused church...we embrace go.

We seek to promote our Kingdom focused values toward the people of the Vineyard and beyond by creating outreach opportunities that are connecting, fun, impactfull and doable.

Outreach is in our DNA.
Years ago Doug Roe and Scott Sliver came to Dayton to plant The Dayton Vineyard. As they started the church they decided to pool their money and began to reach out to the people of Dayton. Their projects ranged from passing out cokes, cooking hot dogs on street corners, visiting the sick in hospitals, to taking bags of groceries to the poor of the city.

Every week we actively reach out to the people of our community.

As we go, serve, and reach we create God space where God things can happen.

Gee think we need to do some training?

Interestingly we have had hundreds of people helping us love our community into a relationship with Jesus Christ. ...serving our way into the heart of our community. Most people serving have had little or no training... This just proves on the job outreach training works in most cases.

Now we are discovering we need to launch into some specific training to help people develop their outreach skills. We've looked at what's out there and have developed e:training. Gleaning from the best of the best. Our desire is to connect you to great resources that will help you grow from a self-study learning experience (see resources below). We will also be hosting e:training an inter-active hour conversation on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Every 2nd Saturday we will meet for about an hour. The first half an hour will be practical tips training, the second half an hour will be conversation answering questions, modeling prayer, and praying for each other. July 14th 9:30am to 10:30amish is the first date for the training.

We will be learning:
Future/Past Lessons learned from our outreach e:history.

Creating God Space where God things can happen.
5 step prayer model.
Servant Evangelism Breaking down barriers, building bridges.
I'm wondering?? How to ask great questions.
Just walk across the room How to share your unique story.
The good news is still the good news How to lead a friend / person to Jesus Christ.
